Noticing some price adjustments?
Let's talk about it!
There are several factors as to why West Metro Lawn & Snow may have increased some of your pricing this year. In the last year we have experienced dramatic pricing increases across all sectors that affect our daily operation.
- Fertilizer costs: 150% increase
- Weed control products: 40%+ increase
- Grass seed: 100%+ increase
- Equipment cost: 20% increase
- Labor costs: all time industry high due to unemployment nearing an all time low.
We have been assured that prices will not return to past levels. Instead, experts in our industry are forecasting prices to continue to increase over the short term, and then settle around an averaged 30% operational increase over average prices in 2021.
It is certain that the covid-era has acted as a natural disaster with it's focus set on the small business sector. In the past 48 months we have watched MANY local lawn care companies close their doors. This can mainly be attributed to their lack of market adjustment and inability to survive hard times.
Minor pricing adjustments are the simplest measure to ensure our relationship with you is sustainable for years to come.
